Our in house Engineering Department ensures every project is compliant and constructed with all the best possible methods.

PTDU, Inc. Engineers are experienced with over 30 years in designing Post-Tension Foundations.  Builders have relied on our expertise for nearly 3000 projects.  We are confident in our ability to provide Builders with the attention to complete cost effective foundation designs for submittal, including the  Certified Foundation Plans and Calculations. 

Over the years, we have joined many variations of Design Teams, to create dialogue and coordination to meet the demands of the projects.  This has proven to be a savings factor, Time is Money!  Our foundation plans are proprietary and require specialized training as recommended by the Post Tension Institute.

Evaluation of soil conditions report & direct communication with the soils engineer for further customizing of the specific project parameter requirements. We are able to do this because of our relationships throughout the past 30 years, and our attention to each projects cost factors.

Our process includes the complicated process of developing calculations through certified software and by specific methods mastered through years of education and experiences by our PTDU Design Team.

We coordinate with the Structural Engineer to receive the layers of information from Architectural & Structural details.  Once we have received their AutoCAD files, we begin the drafting process.  Per the code requirements we will continue communication with the Structural Engineer for review of the Post-Tension plans to ensure the hardware requirements and ease of Submittal & Inspection in the Field.

Part our process is to establish a design protocol for our builders/projects. We approach every design to ensure constructability and overall cost-savings in concrete & reinforcing.

Lastly, finishing the project on schedule, and providing the complete sets of plans & proprietary calculations for each floor plan and soils category that are ready for city submittal.
